Larry Curley named Interim Executive Director of the Indian Health Board of Nevada

Larry Curley (Navajo) was appointed the Interim Executive Director of the Indian Health Board of Nevada at the April 3, 2006 meeting in Sparks Nevada. He succeeds Ed Fox who is now at the Squaxin Island Tribe of Washington State. Ed first came to Nevada last April 20, 2005 when he agreed to serve one year to assist Nevada Tribes establish the IHBN.

The Indian Health Board of Nevada is an independent, state charted organization with an MOA with the Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada. It is located at ITCN's offices in Sparks, NV. ITCN is the IHBN's fiscal agent for the Board and a 3-party MOA with the ITCN and the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California provides financial, inicluding audit services, for all funding received from the Indian Health Service.
